Combo 4 HD-HS1.5TQ freezing when streaming video and music

   Hi all, I've purchased a Combo 4 1.5tb last month. The unit was, however, manufactured in nov 2008. I realise that it freezes and hangs my mac whenever I'm watching a movie or listening to mp3 on my itunes. I also deduced that the harddisk in the unit is the seagate 1.5tb, with SD17 firmware. So my question is, is there any firmware update for my harddisk from buffalo? I know seagates provides firmare upgrades for their 1.5tb harddisk to address this problem, but i can't seem to be able to find a similar firmware update from buffalo. So what should be my next course of action?
