Hi.  I got a new LS-X2.0TL.
I noted the MAC address, configured my DHCP to give it an IP address.

I used a Web Browser to access it and set the admin password.

The new password is not working, the default password is not working....and I did not find
a Reset button of any kind.   There is a hole on the back, but it doesn't seem to be for a paperclip
as on some LinkSys devices.

I googled.

I got the NAS Password Recovery tool, and it gets an error:  Detecting NAS...NG   Aborted.

I would be grateful for any suggestions.
I saw some threads about firmware upgrades.
I wasn't trying anything fancy....and I am not sure
I have a way to do one now.

Thanks!

I have the same issue with the same model.  Did you find a solution?

I was able to log in with the password when upgrading the firmware to 1.65, so I know the admin password is correct.  Cant access any settings.  If i log in with another account, all I see is the user profile page.

Finally guessed my username.  The password was correct, even the username (that I changed) however didnt realize it was case sensitive.

Couldnt get the reset tool to work either even after disabling my firewall.
