external USB disk not seen

Hi All,

I have an iSCSI 2T TeraStation and I'm trying to use an external USB disk but the TeraStation will not see it. I've tried creating a small partition on the external disk, formating it with fat, and re-powering the NAS.... but it still will not see it.

 

Any help would be appreciated

Which firmware version are you running? Is this a rackmount or not? Please, also post your model per our forum guidelines.
