I have set up my Link Station Pro Duo and it works great as long as I am on my own network.
When I try to access the shared files from a remote network thru buffalonas.com I can not find my NAS?
Is there a different setting required for remote networks?

What is your buffalonas.com name, you probably dont have the external port for web access open on your router.
PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.

I set port forwarding in my router to enable internal and external port 9000 assigned to the NAS IP address. I could not use Web access from my own network until I set the port. Buffalonas.com accepts my assigned name for the NAS when I enter from my network but times out when accessed from remote network.

Then the port is not open correctly

How do I open the Port Correctly?
It is set: external port 9000
             internal port 9000
             protocol both (TCP & UDP)
             assigned to NAS IP
             enabled
