Hi , ive bought a CS-X2.0 in march , nobody can give me a right support from buffalo, when ive power on after 10 mins the blue led stop flashing and gets solid blue color.

then i open the nas navigator, and i see it in EM mode with the automatic assigned ip address, in firmware section, say --- .

then ive download the lastest firmware from the buffalo site --> http://buffalo.jp/support_ap/support/pr ... _wv_x.html

ive enabled the debug option in the ini file, same thing if ive select format , erase user data, or no mather which option ive select i get always the same error ACP_STATE_FAILURE.

ive tryed the same procedure with the nas connected directly to my nic card , in win xp or 7 , without firewall , and always get the same error ACP_STATE_FAILURE.

i dont know if this model supports ssh, tftp, ive tried both without success.

this is a brand new unit, ive used 1 time , copyed 5 gb of data from my internal network .. .power off/on and then neever came back online.

ive tried also to read the drive from my pc , but noluck

also tried using 2 sata drives instead the original , no luck also, the blue led never came solid. ( there is a special procedure or something to use blanks hd ? )

the unit is in warranty , but there is no support in Argentina, also im not able to send the unit to MALASYA ( where ive bought )

ill appreciate any suggestion.

also ive posted http://forum.buffalo.nas-central.org/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=27057

anyone? i have a brand new black brick in my house ?

Hmm, EM mode will usually allow you to flash the firmware. Since it's an Asia-Pacific unit, try downloading the firmware from the Australian site and see how that works.

This is moderated by the US, I'm going to be of limited help inter-regionally.
**A single copy of data, even on a RAID array, is NOT a backup! Hard drive failure is not a question of IF, but WHEN! Don't take my word for it, take Google's!**
