While following the solution in " linkstation pro duo won't install--can't find device on network", I came across a problem in step 2. On my home lan I have 2 computers. 1st works fine and can connect to the NAS HD-H250LAN, Firmware 2.0. The 2nd computer can ping the NAS & I can even use explorer to view the control panel of the NAS drive. Problem is when I enter the ip address into the run box file://192.168.0.4/" target="_blank">\\192.168.0dot4 I get a return that it cannot be found. I have verified that all NAS & all computers have WORKGROUP set.
Please advise before my wife kills me...

You're running a LinkStation Gigabit with a 2.0 firmware? Where did you get that from? Or is that the version of your NAS Navigator program?
