I have a TeraStation Pro II (non-rackmount) being usedfor some

virtual servers, and a TeraStation Pro II Rackmountunit that is

currently unused.

Is there a possibility that I can move everythingfrom the current

terastation to the rackmount one??

Thanks

I would suggest logging into the web user interface in the TS (non-rack) and setup a backup job to the rackmount.  Check out pages 50-53 in this http://www.buffalotech.com/support/getfile/?TeraStation_Pro_II_Manual_web.pdf" target=_blank>PDF.

I' have looked at this before, and there is no backup option on the web interface of my unit.

Which firmware version are you running?

So it's an iSCSI device. Those NAS devices do not have a backup job setup, you're right. The only way I can recommend then would be drag and drop or robocopy.

I haven't even been able to figure out how to share a volume on these things......

I would need some more info. What problem are you having when you try to share a volume with the iSCSI? Also, just for clarification can you post both model numbers please?
