Sorry for this basic ?. I am not computer savvy to much of any degree. I am currently using a desktop, which I will continue to use, but want to know how to make my router available for a laptop also.

If you are getting internet from it currently then it should be ready to connect.  What operating system are you using?

I am using Windows XP. I'll need a walk thru.

Right click on the icon that either looks like a computer with a red X through it or a computer with green waves comming off of it.  Then click on 'view available wireless networks'.  Just select your network (may just be a bunch of numbers) and click connect.

And where is this icon that I'm going to right click that looks like a computer with either has a red x or looks like a computer with green waves located? Sorry but I could not find such a thing.
