HS-dh500GL gives Error - One long RED light Flash and 6 LED RED Light Flashes

Hi,
I am using Buffalo linkstation hs-dh500GL.  I have problem with the same.

When swith on the power, LED Flashes RED light and my observation as follows:
1. I can here 9 beeps
2. One long RED light Flash and 6 LED RED Light Flashes and it repeates step 2.

 

What does it mean?

   Error code is "cannot find internal hard drive"  You can try reset the device (not affecting data) by powering the device down, and when before you power it back up, hold in the init button or reset button on the back of the device that is a pinhole button.  Hold the button in, power it up, and continue to hold init/reset button for another 30 seconds and see if you are able to bypass that error messege.  If you don't have an error messege pull up nas navigator client utility and see if there is a firmware there.  If there is - - for firmware go to support and downloads and download the firmware for it and unzip and run the ls updater file.
