LS-CH500L MEDIA SERVER NOT WORKING

   It is a good product... The media server does not work with my vista pc or xp notebook although i get access to it on my ps3. the problem occures with itunes becuase i see on the network windows media server but no itunes. I tried restarting, refresshing, but it does not work and i dont see my computers in the media server page. I looked at a  post with a linkstation tera who seemed to have the same problem, he was using the same router as mine belkin maybe thats the cause. One question is there a chance that in the future you will add support for private torrent with password

also make sure you are running the latest firmware version.

   i took care of the media server problem wich was caused by my "pc". i reinstalled a fresh copy of vista and i can see the buffalo server on my itunes, probably the same solution applies to my xp notebook. im going to try a fresh install  of my xp notebook as well.
