Changing workgroup on Linkstation EZ

The navigator (Ver. 1.42) shows me the details of the Linkstation and allows me to change such things as IP address, but I want to change the workgroup and the host name. How is this accomplished?

On other Buffalo programs you can log into the interface via the IP Address, however on the EZ this can not be done.

   Does this mean that the Workgroup name on the Linkstation EZ cannot be changed?  I just bought the 500 GB and searched the forum specifically to get this answer!  Should I return the unit, or will it work as a central backup location regardless of the workgroup name?

You cannot change the workgroup name on the EZ, it is meant to be a minimal configuration device. However, having it on a seperate workgroup from your computers will not hinder your ability to back up to the NAS.
