Persisting problem with LS-CHL 1.07 USB port

After the 1.07 update the USB port won't mount my fat32 formatted drive anymore. Yesterday i force-reflashed the device with FW 1.07 in debug mode, all options activated. Nothing has changed. Whenever i switch my USB disk on, the web interface freezes, the BT client loses al of its settings and the drive is not mounted at all.

In a couple of days I'll be able downgrade to 1.06 and see if its usb port's fault (it's suddently toasted?) or if 1.07's fault. In the meanwhile, did anyone experience similar issues?
