Trashbox on new Linkstaton Live

I made sure that within the web interface the trashbox function was turned off but I still can't delete it and recover space. When I try and delete the Trashbox folder I get the following error: "Cannot remove _backups. The directory is not empty."

 

Any ideas?

I just tested this.  Try enabling it, put something in it.  Then delete it(the trashbin) then turn it off in the web gui.  I was on an xp machine, if your on something else let me test it.  Make sure you are logged into ur comptuer as an admin so no permission issue could be caused by a microsoft issue.

 Ok, I tried what you suggested and no luck.

 

Inside the Trashbox foler is a series of five nested folders as follows :: "_backups" then "Share"  then "_backups" then "Share" then "_backups"

 

Any thoughts?
