hello,

 

i have buffalo brhc6316 external dvd/bd.

when i try to backup blu-ray i get VERY slow reading (>0.6MB/sec) and it takes forever to read the bd.

i connected it internally in my computer using sata (thought the usb is the cause) and i get same speed.

can you please help me diagnose/repair it?

should i look for new firmware?

 

i have quadcore intel running on vista ultimate.

for the backup i run anydvd.

please help me.

also, can anyone help me with firmware upgrade?

when i want to use the update from buffalo japan site, it does not recognize my bd (i took the bd from the external box and connected it to my pc directly).

please advise,

i too bought this product only i can get my Blu-rays to play?.. the drive sees it but when i double click to play i get nothing...i put a normal dvd in it and it seems to skip alittle..idk how much i wasnt really watchin, just want to see it it was gonna play anything...is there someone out there that can help us?
