I have bought 500GB LS-C500L NAS drive.

My laptop is Windows XP. Can I use Windows Disk Management to partition  this NAS drive?

What is the preferred software to partition the drive? Or does it have utility to partition the drive. ( I have not opened the box yet).

I am plan on partitioning into 5 drives of (4 nos. of  100GB capacity and one 70GB).

Secondly how does the built-in webaccess feature work?

Thanks

Can't partition in disk management, this is a NAS device in xpf file format.  Go inside of the device and create 6 folders.  Setting up the web access is easy but the hard part is opening port 9000 on your router for this to work.
