I have a HD-HG300LAN (connected to my Linksys router) on a network with a VISTA machine. I downloaded the latest utility from Buffalo support for the VISTA OS & rebooted.

I can access the Linkstation however I am having trouble organizing and moving files around on the drive. There are 4 main folders and I'd like to delete some, add others. I also need to MOVE files between folders but so far I've only been able to copy from one to another and go back and delete the originals.

What do I need on the VISTA machine to access and change things on the Linkstation?

Thanks

Barry

You cannot simply transfer a file, you will need to copy paste and delete.

To delete and add shares you need to log into the web interface by typing  in the IP address of the LS into a web browser.
