Linkstation Pro Duo and Web Access Issues

Hello,

Yesterday I tried to send a single 500mb disc .iso image to my Pro Duo using the upload feature in web access. Once I selected the file the upload window would just freeze up. About 10 minutes later the window just closed with no error message. I then checked the file system to see if the file had uploaded. It did, but the file size was only 25mb and corrupted. Shortly after that the web access service completely stopped responding and I could no longer log in. Luckily I had Windows Remote Desktop enabled on one of my computers at home so I logged into that, opened the management console for the ProDuo and selected the reboot feature in the maintenance section. A few minutes later I tried again but the service still wasn't responding. I went back into the management screen, turned the web access service off, saved the change then turned it back on again which brought the service online again. So now, my questions:

1.) What is the maximum single file size that can be uploaded using web access?

2.) What would cause the Web Access service to stop responding like that?

3.) Why didn't rebooting the device bring the Web Access service back online?

4.) Is there anything that can be done to make the Web access feature more stable?

Connection speed shouldn't be an issue because I'm on a 10mbit line at work and I have a 8mbit line at home. I love my Pro Duo's overall. I currently own two of them.  I am totally willing to work with support in any way to get the firmware updated to resolve these and other firmware bugs on these devices. I will devote my own personal time for free for beta testing and feedback. Ultimately, I just want all advertised features to function properly and the device itself to be stable.

Any suggestions or feedback would be greatly appreciated,

Mengsk

I'm not sure why the service crashed. Thank you for all the information you've given, it will assist us in finding a solution for you. This will probably require a firmware update once we've fixed the Web Access feature.

Try something for me please: try transferring a similar file to webaccess when you're on your local network.
