I have a new HD-CEU2 and during the first time installation, I did not format it to NTFS. Now I decide to format it to NTFS but the system keeps saying there is no free partition to format. What is the official way to reformat it?

Jotin

You can do to disk management in windows to format it. Click on start> right click my computer> go to manage> then disk management in the new window. Then you should see the drive there. You might have to delete the partition and then format the new partition.

If I format using Windows' disk manager, will that impact the free use of the included softwares?

Dustrega

The included softwares can be downloaded http://www.buffalotech.com/support/validate/?MTE5fEhELUNFVTIuemlw" target=_blank>here and use should not be affected by a partition change.
