So.. I have a quick question:

Does anyone have any experience with the fiesystem on the drives?

I am scrapping my LS Duo.. it is too unreliable... and going back to a more conventional linux system. (Atom boards are cheap these days!.. but I want to use the HDDs.

I understand the LS uses linux... can I simply swap them into a real system? Will I need to reformat? Any advice on this?

thank you!

Well you should be able to plug them into your linux machine and see them. They're formated in XFS so you should be fine.
