Bittorrent usability improvement idea for all bittorrent products

Hi,

I did not know where I should post improvement ideas so I posted my idea here.

My improvement idea is to have 2 or more automatically changing bittorrent modes like day time mode and night mode with user selectable times for mode changes. I guess for most of the users 2 modes are enough but maybe somebody needs more modes.

Here is an example. It would be nice to setup low transfer speeds for day time and high transfer speeds for night time and these modes should change automatically at user defined times.

Here is an other example too. Maybe someone would like to have different settings on week days and on weekend.

In the current implementation user needs to modify setting every morning and evening if he/she wants to optimize network traffic which is annoying to do. I guess this would be easy to implement into products containing bittorrent.

If you like to implement my idea into your products feel free to do so.  At least I would like to see this kind of upgrade in your next FW upgrade.

Your router may have settings to that effect... check out the router documentation for QoS (Quality of Service). I'll forward your request to our corporate office.
