Remote access to files question

I have a LS-V2.0TL with firmware 1.64

In my work I need to share images or text files from time to time with co-workers.  I have my Linkstation accessible via FTP, but would like to be able to view those files without having to go through WebAccess.  I can add or delete files via a FTP server from anywhere but cannot simply view the images except local to the Linkstation.  I have a static IP address available.

Is there a way to do that?

Or is WebAccess required?

If it is not possible to directly access the files is there a solution that would allow me to do that?

If it is possible what address would I use to access the files?
