Hi I have a linkstation quad pro which i have been using for about 2 years.

Recently i relocated the NAS to my living room and after which it did not boot up after i relocated it.

I tried the following,

1) Removing 1 of the HDD and power up - (The device powers up for like 3seconds and then dies off)

2) Removing 2 of the HDD and power up - (The device powers up for like 3seconds and then dies off)

3) Removing 3 of the HDD and power up - (The device powers up and shows 4x solid red LED and there is no other response)

4) Power up the NAS with 0 HDD installed - (The device powers up and shows 4x solid red LED and there is no other response)

5) Tried holding on to the function button for 10s before power up - (No response)

Not sure what else can I try to revive the NAS, also is there anyway i can still retrieve the data in my HDDs? I have RAID5 running previously across 4 disks.

Did you power down your linkstation properly when you relocated it or did you just turn it off?

I went into the GUI to shutdown the device and then power off the linkstation before relocating it...

Currently it will not power up whenever 2 or more HDD installed but when I only have 1 HDD installed it powers up and gives me 4x red solid LED.
