NAS LS-CH1.5TL compatibility with windows 8

Just bought a new PC with windows 8.

PC would not recognize the NAS setup instalation programs

I can see the NAS but cannot open all files. cannot see the NAS files from Word, Picasa etc...

 

worse: if I try to download drivers from Buffalo site, serial number is not recognized

 

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

 

can someone help ?

NAS Navi is really not necessary.  Try by typing IP address of the LS, for example  \\192.168.1.70.

Actually I realized that connecting the NAS as a drive (eg (H:)) solves the problem
