Hi

I have a 4-bay linkstation pro quad with 2gb seagate 7200rpm drives in each.

My write speed is around 100mbps but my read speed is much faster at approx 480mbps.. I'm using raid 10. Is this normal??

When i first got my linkstation 2 months ago it was writing at almost the same speed as my read, what is going on now? How do i fix it to increase the speed again?

Thanks

See link for Raid 10 info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAID_10#RAID_1.2B0">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAID_10#RAID_1.2B0

Note: It does say that using Raid 10 the read speed will be faster than the write speed.
