Delete .cedata folder from Cloudstor

I am using Cloudstore with Pogoplug.  I need to delete the .cedata folder to get the thumbnail images to re-index.  I have made all the system files unhidden, so I can see the .cedata folder on the network when I look at the device, but when I try to delete it, I get an error that there isn't permissions to delete the folder.  I have also installed the Pogoplug companion software so the drive shows up on my computer as a mapped drive, but I don't see the .cedata folder on the mapped drive, only when I view the Cloudstor on the network.

I have contacted Pogoplug support and after they tried a few things with me, they are refering me to Buffalo support saying it should work the way they are telling me but it's not working on my hardware.

Can anyone give any advice on how to delete the .cedata folder on a Cloudstor device?
