A shared folder was created, same as a users UID so that %username% can be used in scripting for access.

All good, except one folder. This user could not access their folder, neither could the overarching admin, which can access all the other user's folders, 21 in all at present

SO, delete the folder. Ok

Re-create. No good.

Delete again.

Make another folder with a different name,  OK

Rename this new folder to the name of the user. FAIL! Apparently the deleted folder still exists, at least in name somewhere.

Delete this new folder.

Make a folder with the original name.

Rename

Make a folder with different name.

Rename to required name. FAIL! Name conflict again.

So, how to COMPLETELY remove a folder and all traces of it please, without removing all the other user's folders?
