Hi

I've 2 NAS, same with same file system (XFS), but only one I can change archive attribute of files. Why?

NAS1: Terastation TS-XL firmware 1.57, I can't change archive attribute, error is "access denied"

NAS2 (older): Terastation TS-HTGL/R5 firmware 1.35, no problem

thanks

How exactly are you settings the attributes? Via the web admin page or right clicking the files/folders themselves?

PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.
Having network issues? Drop me an email: info@interwebsireland.com and we will get it fixed!

Have i helped you? Buy me a coffee as a thanks!

I tried with right clicking, and same problem using cobian backup (that change the archive attribute for select what files backup, beacause neither timestamp works on this nas.....). I've not direct access to file via the web admin page.

thank you
