Hello - I need some help.  I have 2 TerraStation 5600s that need to provide a network share to an AD domain.  However, in case one fails I need the other to pick up where it left off without hesitation.  The manual isn't really helpful.  Do I want replication / failover / backup / something else / or a combination of these?  I basically want a realtime (or as close to it) sync between the two in case one fails (and to still be accessible at \\sharename for the domain users).  Please help!  Thanks.

You need to enable failover, however bare in mind that you will not be able to be use the second unit only the failover has been enabled becuase it will be kept in the background in the event of the main one failing.

If the main one does fail it will take over IP settings and data from the first unit.

PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.
