Hi folks,

I'm hoping you can help me. I upgraded the firmware of my LinkStation Live to the latest very about a week ago. I then rebooted it and started getting the red-flashing signs (E06) which I understand to be the firmware problem.

I tried kicking the EM mode on, but instead of the Function button going blue, the function button and the main LED turn off and then the main LED starts flashing like crazy. I can't see the box in the NAS navigator and turning off the power doesn't seem to work (I need to physically pull the plug).

I'd like to do this TFTP approach but I understand you can only do this with a windows machine and I'm only a mac-owner without access to windows.

Any ideas on what I can try?

I eventually found a solution to this (I ended up digging up a windows netbook). I posted the solution to how I reset the firmware here: http://www.thekua.com/atwork/2013/02/fixing-my-buffalo-linkstation-live-ls-chl/" target="_blank">http://www.thekua.com/atwork/2013/02/fixing-my-buffalo-linkstation-live-ls-chl/

Hope it helps someone
