Yes, another post abou this but... in others there are no solutions.

I have a linkstation live, 1 TB, and webaccess is very slow, it takes 5 mins to load the START PAGE, and more to show folders list. SO, it's impossible to use.

Torrent is working fine, on the other hand.Lasf firmware already flashed....

I have 1 MB in UPLOAD so the problem is not on my side.

Buffalo please give us a solution... the claim "performace matters" under the logo looks pretty funny now -.-

Or if some of you have a workaround please help.

Thank you

if you are trying to access the NAS via web access locally are you still having the same performance issues?

Thank Davo for your attention.

When i use the device from my LAN, accessing it from my windows PC, it works fine. I can copy at a decent speed and so on.

When i try to access the web config interface (from the LAN, putting the IP in browser, i set up a static ip 192.168.1.228)  it is slow but usable... ionly use it to turn off the NAS.

The great problem is when i try to access the NAS from the internet, using webaccess.

Is unusable, and i tried

- using public ip:9000

- using no-ip.com:9000

- using buffalonas.com

(port forwarding and similar are set up)

all these cases are the same, very very slow.

I appreciate your attention, what could you advice to me?

Tnx

Performance is also slow.  The default view should be list not icons or title.  Performance should be optimize fo showing list of files.  Once you get to the file, to download it the performance is not bad.  Is Buffalo Tech working on this problem.  Otherwise it makes no sense to use web access and more inclined to use Google drive as alternative.
