Hi,

My Buffalo NAS is setup with just one hard disc of 160GB SATA. Recently it crashed and I took it off the NAS and connected to my laptop using a USB adapter. Removed all the partition and then re-inserted the same into my NAS. Now restarting NAS resulted in the RED function LED. So I ran the firmware updater and the update progress started. But after sometime the updater showed the message that it is waiting for the Linkstation to reboot.

But at the this time Function LED was showing RED for sometime and then went off. But the updater was still waiting for the NAS to reboot. so I finally restarted it by pulling off the power plug and putting it back on.

Now My NAS switches on with just the Blue LED power light and nothing else and am not able to find it in my navigator.
