I own a NAS (not a Linkstation) and have a Multi-Function Printer (MFP) attached to it. I am trying to get my MFP working on the network.

I can get the printing part sorted out fine, but cannot scan from the networked MFP.

Apparently Buffalo have a software which connects the USB ports over the network. The software is contained in a file called Link Navigator. Found out about this method from this website: http://josephlo.wordpress.com/2012/12/21/buffalo-quad-pro-network-usb-navigator-and-multi-function-printerscanner/">http://josephlo.wordpress.com/2012/12/21/buffalo-quad-pro-network-usb-navigator-and-multi-function-printerscanner/

But to download the software it is asking for a serial number.

Would any of you helpful folks provide me with a serial number ?

Alternately, you could enter the serial number yourself and provide me the direct download link, which you would get after entering your serial no.

The software I need is listed here: http://buffalo.jp/support_ap/support/products/ls_wvl.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://buffalo.jp/support_ap/support/products/ls_wvl.html(preview)

Its called the LinkNavigator(Windows) ver 2.10 137 MB.

Thanks for your help

EDIT: My windows is Windows 7 (64-bit)

Thanks heaps guys.
