Just installed TeraStation TS-RX8.0TL/R5. Firmware version 1.57.

Have 4 to 10 people accessing it daily. Put it online 5 days ago. Since then 3 of those days at around 4pm each day, the users got kicked out. It takes only about 15 minutes of waiting and then they are allowed back in. I have checked my scheduled backup procedures and find no conflicts. I have reviewed logs in my Cisco switches and find no issues. I do not see any way to view any logs on this NAS. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

If you log into the web interface of the device and go to System -> Power Management -> Sleep Timer, are there any sleep timer settings configured on the unit?

To access the log files on your unit, click CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+B while logged into the webUI.

Thanks for the information. There are no Sleep Timers scheduled. I was able to view the log and noticed something. Although I don't know enough about this to know whether it is normal operation or not. It looks as though multiple files (hundreds) and folders are being opened by a couple windows 7 pc's, within seconds, even though the user is only accessing a couple of files. If this is normal, I assume the TeraStation can handle it. But if this is not normal, What is the reason? How can I fix it? I am not an IT expert. Just the office geek. Thank you in advance.
