Complaint - English Language Downloads ceased from Buffalo US

Hello, I now note that Buffalo US no longer lets overseas users of their hardware to download drivers and software in English from their US site. Why has this stance been taken - given that the overseas versions of your Software do not support Language Switching. I draw your attention in particular to the Buffalo NAS Navigator application - what is the justification for this action ?

If you have the serial number and your device was purchasesd in the US then there should be no issue with downloading the files.

I am in Japan, I unfortunately end up buying Bufalo Japan products which are mostly the same as the US ones, and toadate I have been obtainaing the English software for them from the US website, since the Japanese one only provides Japanese software.

 

Clearly in todays World of international coverage Buffalo has either decided unilaterally to prove that it can't write International Software or that it wishes to alienate any Foreign residents in Japan, given the rise of Nationalism in Japan of late, I suspect the latter - though I wish I am wrong...

So, let me get this straight, you live in Japan, buy the device in Japan and are surprised that the software is in Japanese............ OK. :-/
