I bought a HD-PCTU3 MiniStation a few months back and have been using it with my laptop for little over a month. My laptop does not have any USB 3.0 ports so I decided to buy a PCI Express Card converter to dual USB 3.0 ports. After receiving my PCI Express Card USB 3.0 converter, I found out that the driver never installed so I gave up on upgrading my laptop to USB 3.0.

But recently about a month back I got myself a new desktop computer which didn't have any USB 3.0 ports, so I bought a PCI Express Card for a desktop computer which is this: PCI Express Card Adapter. I received my new card and installed it in my desktop computer. Installed the driver from the driver CD and finally thought it was about to glow blue instead of green; but no.

I would really like to know what more has to be done to get this USB 3.0 running on my HD-PCTU3. Do I have to reformat it? Why is there not stated any troubleshooting in the manuals? Does it say USB 2.0 when connected to your computer?
