My Terastation II continues to warn me that drive 4 is failing. At the moment, the T II is running but HDD 4 is dead. I have a HDD to replace it with, but I have a question. Is it best practices to swap out the drive while it is running or when it is off? Thanks in advance. Bert

The Terastation pro II does not have hot swappable drives so you will need to power it down, replace the HDD, boot the unit back up and them rebuild the raid.

PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.
