HELP: Linkstation Live V2, Power button and fan not work, RESET button acts like Power button

Just unbricked my Linkstation Live V2, but the power button and the fan don't work, and now the reset button acts just like power button: I can use it to power on/off my LS box.

 

It seems that there's something wrong with the micro-controller, while I've no idea about it.

 

Any hints or suggestion would be highly appreciated!

Try to flash the firmware, if that does not work and the unit is out of warranty then you should power the unit down by the web interface, under maintenance.

Thanks, Paul.  I tried several different firmwares including 2.06, 2.10, 2.11 and Freelink, but they don't work.

 

Actually I'm able to turn off the box, instead of using power button, I have to use RESET button.

 

The problem is that the fan does not spin at all, which may result in the increasing temperature if it runs for a long time.

 

This is biggest concern I have, and I think the fan problem seems related to the power button issue, that's why I ask for them for both.

I tried reflashing new uBoot, but no luck.

Any other hints?
