My unit says it's a HS-DHTGL/R5 and it has 4 500-GB drives and is now using raid-5. In looking at the Buffalo site I guess that my unit is a HS-DH2.0TGL/R5. I have a daily email from the unit that says "error 3 on disk 1". I have ordered a new 6TB unit and will fully back the unit up as it has about 1.3 TB of data. I guess I will replace the 4 drives in the unit but my question is can I install larger drives? I see that my unit was also sold as a 4TB unit so maybe I can upgrade it to 4TB but I wasn't able to find information about what drives I can install into it. I also can do a firmware upgrade since I see one exists. Thanks for any information you can provide.

Offically it only supports upto 4TB total however it should work with upto 4 X 2TB HDDs.
