Newbie Need Help

Hi

 

Having a couple of problems that I'd realy appreciate help with. Had my Link Station LS-WX4 for 2 weeks and still not got it running.

 

Lots of problems configuring it to Raid 1 but that seems OK now.

 

Yhis morning it said it needed firmware update so set it going and left for work. 8 hours later when I got home the web access page said it was still updating the firmware but NAS Navigator was picking up the drive as OK so I decided to log off and back on again as the session would have timed out anyway. Now when I log back in it still says it's updating firmware. Surely after what must be abour 14 hours it can't still be updating?

 

My other issue is that I am using a mac and can't get the drive to mount in finder. I follow the instructions and select open folder in Nas Navigator but all that happens is that NAs Navigator shuts itself down.

 

Any advise very much appreciated.

Thanks that solved the firmware upsate problrm,

 

Still can't mount the drive in finder, working around at the moment but would like to get the full benefits of the drive.
