Linkstation Duo JPEG Thumbnails Not Able to view in Windows XP

   Ok, so I have a brand new 2Tb Linkstation pro connected to my router.  I can see it fine.  Got shared folders established.  Moved bunch of JPEG files into the folder.  The thumbnails show at first then, after a minute or two, they are replaced with a standard icon, and now become unpreviewable in Windows Picture and Fax Viewer.  What's the deal?  Can't find any solution.

   Are you accessing the device by the network name or IP address?

Hi Dustrega,

 

I am accessing the device via network name.  I mapped a Windows drive to the shared folder where I deposited the jpegs. moved the files to the folder, saw the thumbnails, after minute or so, the icon goes generic, and then cannot preview the jpegs or view them.  What to do?
