Yes, NAS power is switched in "ON" mode, but error still happens.

A window says "Möchten Sie, dass das Programm "NASNavigator 2.app" eingehende Netzwerkverbindungen akzeptiert?"

When i click on "Erlauben" NAS Navi unexpected quits.

Hi folks,

 

after 5 days of testing, 2.23 works !!!!!!! on OS 10.6.2.

 

Thanks a lot for the "japanese link" I'll send a notice to the german buffalo support, they are still waiting for 2.22 (as we know doesn't work)

 

See You again with 10.6.3 ???

I too have had success using the Japan release of 2.23 NasNavigator.

Here in France, I also use the Japanese version under OS X 10.6.2 and it works perfectly !

No error and Nas is starting automatically.

I tried NasNavi 2.22 from the european site and 2.23 from the japanese site on my mac on snow leopard - both do not wake up my linkstation quad.

When I use the wakeonlan software the linkstation does react. It seems that it stays on even if I quit the wakeonlan software, but the nasnavigator2 stays open - but I am not quite sure. 

I shut the Linkstation down yesterday, but when I came back today, it was on again.

One problem may be, that I am in a huge Network at the University - is there a possibility to narrow the wake-on-lan signals down, so my linkstation only recognizes orders from my computer? I do have a static IP...

Are there any settings I can make to influence the autopower mode?

I could not find anything...

 

Edit:

It does not stay on, when only the nasnavigator2 runs...

It shuts itself down after a while...

I tried v.2.26 - unfortunately it still does not react...
