LS420 Recovery formatted HDD

I am trying to follow the instructions in http://forums.buffalotech.com/index.php?topic=10185.0 to recovery the accidentally formatted LS420D (LS420D0402) HDD.

However, the LS420D unit seems to stuck somewhere.  The TFTP server is running, but there is no connection from LS420D and the screen stuck at , and nothing was downloaded to LS420D unit.

Does anyone know how to get LS420D built-in firmware to kick-start its TFTP download?
