My HS-DH320GL Linkstation Live is no longer responding and is not seen on the network anymore. I see the error "6 flashes - Hard Drive can not be recognized."
Any tips will help
Thanks!
An E06 error can either mean that the unit's internal hard drive cannot be recognized, or that the unit has lost its firmware image. To troubleshoot from the angle of it missing its firmware image, are you able to see the unit in the Nas Navigator software? If you are able to still see the unit, then please perform a forced firmware update on the unit. Instructions on how to do so can be found here:

In the event that you are not seeing your unit in the Nas Navigator, you would then want to perform a TFTP boot in conjunction with the aforementioned forced firmware update. Instructions on how to perform a TFTP boot on your unit can be found here:

However, if the above troubleshooting is not successful, then would appear you are in fact dealing with a hard drive that cannot be recognized.
In order to read the unit's XFS filesystem on your PC, you would need such software as UFS Explorer, EXT3 Reader or Runtime.org's NAS Data Recovery software. Though, if you have a piece of software with which you are more familliar with and prefer to use that is capable of reading XFS, assuming that the issue is with the chassis not being able to read the drive as opposed to an actual drive failure, you should be able to see the data.
