Seriously frustrated with the dlna server on my linkstation. Upgraded to 1.54 and had the problem. Updated to 1.56 and have the same problem again:

Using a PS3 as a DLNA client, the NAS is displayed but the contents of the
directories are empty when viewed only from the dnla client. I have done the
following:
> -restarted the NAS from the web client

> -initialed database before refresh

> -hard boot of the NAS (powered off and powered back on)

> -restored to factory defaults

working. All media contents are physically on the drive and can be browsed on a
computer but cannot be seen via DLNA.

firmware and is not displaying any issues with the same PS3 unit.

I aso use another DLNA client and it to sees the buffalo server but does not display contents or directories within the share,

Completely frustrated here and am looking at alternatives to buffalo and am completely ready to abandon this company.

Can anyone possibly shed some light on the situation? Other than completely reformatting, what other things can I do. I've spent way too much time troubleshooting when the unit had worked with previous versions of firmware without issue.
