Active Directory User List Blank

Model: Terastation TS-XEL   (XE8.0TL/R5)  

Firmware: 1.50

 

Issue:

 

I can see a list of AD groups, but the list of AD users is blank.

 

The Domain Controller is on SBS2011 standard.

 

 

How can i get this to work?

At the moment unfortunately we do not support SBS2011.  That being said, the latest firmware available for the unit is version 1.55, you might try updating the Terastation.

 

On other versions of server, this behavior can sometimes be caused by the user accounts being organized into OUs.  If this is the case, try moving a user account back to the default OU and then rejoin the unit to AD.  If this allows the account to import correctly you should be able to move the user back to its container without impacting that user's ability to authenticate to the Terastation.

We also have this issue, I have to go into the TeraStation WebPage click onto the IP address settings, modify, I don't modify anything just click on "save" the TeraStation updates and retrive all the users & grups, after some time loose them again.

 

I read about the time and yes, booth TeraStation and SBS2011 are at the same GTM, within 1 minute.

 

Any ideas?
