Hi,

first question: can I reinstall Buffalo software ( DriveNavy ) without losing my files and without backing them up first?

second: how can I force the drive to run permanentliy instead of auto-switching-off after some time? I switched off EcoMode but it didnt make any difference.

third:  where can I find the serial number oft the drive above?

1.) If you used the Secure Lockware Software to encrypt the drive then it must be formated. Otherwise you can reisntall without having to format.

2.) Uninstall the EcoManager. If ist still occurs use device manager to reinstall the drivers.

3.) The serial number is 14 numbers ( Numbers only) on the unit itself usually near a bar code.
