Model: LS-500GL-AP

Connected using Workgroup

From the web interface shared folder management, I have created a shared folder, set access restriction and select only a user with password for READ/WRITE only.

From the network, the folder is visible, and when try to get in, I keyed in the username & password of that particular user, however I am not able to get it right. I try delete user, delete folder and recreate yet facing the same problem.

The moment I disable the Access Restriction I have no problem accessing it. What is wrong?

Make sure the workgroup settings on the Linkstation and the computer are the same. Do you have any nonrestricted shares mounted on that computer?
