Our Japan engineers confirm that, for this product, the UK and USA hardware is identical. You can download the 2.21 (March 2010 revision, not Beta)  FW from the US site at http://www.buffalotech.com/support/getfile/HS-DHGL_221-083.zip">http://www.buffalotech.com/support/getfile/HS-DHGL_221-083.zip

 

The UK site should be updating their download site for the HS-DHGL to FW revision 2.21 shortly.

This revision fixes issues with PS3  media play.

This 2.21 firmware is flakey as my  HS-DHGL has just shutdown during the update with no lights flashing but constant beeping and when i restarted it i get a constant  red error LED flashing with constant beeping so it has bricked my unit so now i'm going to have to try a TFTP Boot 

 

:(

 

I've never had this with any of the previous updates not even the old Beta versions.
