Can't get email notification to work (Linkstation 210)

I have been trying off and on for months to get my Linkstation 210 to send me daily status notifications.  I fill out the server info, but when I get to the required "recipients" line, I can't enter any text.  As a result, it won't complete the setup and deletes all the other info I've entered.
This is my 2nd Linkstation.  The first one was a bit older but didn't have this problem.  Any one have any ideas what I'm doing wrong?  Yes, I have the latest firmware.

Thank you for your reply.  I am accessing the linkstation with a desktop PC, not a phone.  But I'll see if I can use that info to accomplish what I want to do.
