Hey, strange issue here! I think something has gone corrupted and I don't know how to fix it. Thread subject says it all really:

- I have two shares, but after doing some big moving around / copying, one folder is not visible in Explorer in Windows or Finder on Mac. I can see the rest without issues. I have tried searching for files I know exist, in case they have moved into a subfolder, but cannot find them anywhere.

- I can still play the files fine on DLNA on my LG TV for example

According to the web interface I have the latest firmware.

I have also used the Check Disk function in the web interface, but that did not help

Anyone?

The data is there, I can use it on my TV - but I cannot access the folders to add/remove/edit in Explorer and it's frustrating

You probably need to enable SMB2 on the LinkStation.

https://www.buffalotech.com/knowledge-base/windows-10-cannot-access-shares-on-nas
It is enabled.

I was doing a big copying from one folder to another on the Linkstation, there was an error and after that a few folders are missing in Explorer / Finder etc. I have another drive assigned to a different letter on the same Linkstation, and the folders in there are still available normally.
